)Construction and Materials
The Level Sleep mattress is a 10″ all foam mattress made up of 2 layers of foams:
- 3″ Performance Layer – This layer is 3″ foam layer containing three different foams for three regions: head and shoulder region, torso region, hip and leg region. The patented TriSupport foams in this top layer are made of top grade open-cell foam that provides the perfect balance of cushioning comfort and support necessary for a comfortable and painless night’s sleep. The open-cell design provides for good airflow to prevent heat buildup and keep you cool during the night.
- Head and shoulder region is made of LEVEL Soft foam designed to absorb the weight of your shoulders, reduce pressure and pain and provide you with cushioning comfort.
- Torso region is made of the LEVEL Firm foam designed to comfortably support your lower back and side while reducing back pain.
- The leg and hip region is made of LEVEL Medium foam designed to absorb and support your hips, keep them in alignment with your spine and prevent the appearance of pressure points.
- 7″ Foundation Layer – This layer is 7″ of dense and highly resilient Poly Urethane foam that acts as the foundation and provides deep compression support. This layer allows the bed to be placed on any flat surface regardless of whether you choose a bed frame or the floor.
The cover of this mattress is made of premium thick and durable fabric. It incorporates a 4-way stretch technology that maximizes comfort and ensures that the cover has a high level of breathability.
It also prevents the cover from pulling from one side to another while moving around in bed.

Firmness & Support
The Level Sleep TriSupport mattress is a universal comfort model, designed to appeal to a wide range of sleepers. We rate it at about a 6.5 out of 10 (10 being firmest)
Both Kaye and myself felt this bed initially was on the firmer side of the spectrum, but quite comfortable due to the use the TriSupport technology designed to provide the right amount of comfort and support to those regions of the body where it is needed most.
With many mattresses, since I’m a heavier sleeper (230 lbs), I tend to bottom out or press through the top comfort layers and feel more of the support layers beneath which are often harder and not as comfortable, but this wasn’t the case with the Level Sleep mattress.
Given that it is a 10″ mattress, I did compress the top layer to a certain degree, but a dense and firmer base below stopped me from sinking too much into the mattress and provided me with a good degree of lift and support.
This is a HUGE deal for me, given that almost every 10″ mattress we have tested has caused me to sink down to the foundation, given the use of cheaper less dense foam cores. The Level Sleep uses a high quality, very dense foam support core which prevents this and provides optimal support for heavier sleepers such as myself, as well as regular people as well.

Level sleep mattress, corner view
This mattress is both firm and soft in the areas where you need those qualities most. Since the major benefit here is the lumbar support, the middle region of the bed is significantly firmer than the top and bottom regions of the bed that are softer.
It’s hard to imagine a mattress that is both soft and firm, but the Level Sleep mattress has it all and it worked perfectly for us as side sleepers.
We felt it did a great job of providing support in all sleeping positions for both Kaye and myself sleeping as a couple. Softer foam layers cradled and molded to our shoulders and hips and prevented the appearance of pressure points and any discomfort and pain in our backs or necks, while it also had enough firmness in the middle region to support our lumbar area.
Comfort
The Level Sleep mattress is quite comfortable, with three zones capable of accommodating different body weights and curves, reducing pressure and keeping your spine properly aligned.
The mattress is soft enough to cradle your shoulders and hips as a side sleeper, while having enough firmness in the middle region to support your lumbar area which is the heaviest part of your body that needs more support.
Back sleepers and stomach sleepers will also find the Level Sleep good as well, as it is firm enough to provide support and comfort for those sleeping styles without being too soft and causing excessive sinkage.
Since this zoned mattress keeps your spine properly aligned, you are more likely to be comfortable and pain free while sleeping which will also keep you from tossing and turning and let both you and your partner get a better sleep night’s sleep.

Level Sleep mattress corner view
The mattress has some bounce coming from the proprietary foams used in the top layer which make it great for sex as well. It’s not bouncy like some other mattresses we have reviewed but it has just enough of it to make your late night amorous couple’s activity enjoyable.
It also has enough responsiveness needed to switch positions during the night and support my heavy weight with ease, without causing too much motion transfer.
All in all, this bed is both very supportive and very comfortable, and the premium materials all lend themselves to accomplishing this.
Sleeping Hot
The Level Sleep mattress does a good job at sleeping cool, due to the use of breathable open-cell foams and soft cover that all work together to allow good airflow through the mattress, prevent the build-up of excessive body heat, thus keeping you cool and comfortable all night long.
As a couple living in Texas where temperatures know to be really high, especially during summer, this is a big deal for us. The mattress managed to prevent the build-up of heat and did not cause excessive sweating during the night.
We did not experience that sticky feeling that we often do with all foam mattresses which was something we really were thankful for.
Sinkage & Motion Transfer
This mattress does a good job with minimizing sinkage, especially when compared to most other all foam mattresses we have reviewed.
As we always tend to mention, sinkage is largely weight dependent, and as I weight around 230lbs I often experience more sinkage when sitting and lying on a mattress than Kaye who is half my weight. She experiences much less sinkage than I do, but this is to be expected due to her much lighter weight.
This mattress has about average amount of sinkage as you would expect from an all foam mattress, but it is nothing serious and won’t cause you to bottom out or sink too much into foam and feel enveloped by your mattress.
It supported my heavy weight better than I thought it would and our weights combined, and thanks to the use of different foams in the top layer, it distributed our weights evenly across the bed.
I didn’t sink too much into the mattress and cause Kaye to roll into me which is often the case with 10″ lower quality mattresses, and it also didn’t cause Kaye experience that well-known feel of “sinking into a hole”.

Level Sleep mattress profile
In terms of edge support, this mattress varies based on the area where you are sitting. As the mattress has three foam parts of different firmnesses in the top layer for three different body regions, it allows those specific regions of your body to sink to the right depth.
So, you may sink more at the top or the bottom of the mattress where foams are softer than in the middle region where there is a firmer foam designed to support your lumbar area. However, regardless of where you choose to sit, you won’t compress the edges too much and come to rest on the foundation of your bed.
As for motion transfer, the Level Sleep has minimal amount of this due to its all-foam construction which makes it a perfect mattress for couples.
This is often a big issue for us, when my heavier 230lb body moves or gets out of the bed and wakes Kaye up during the night. With this mattress Kaye felt no disruption in her sleep when we changed positions.
Smell / Off-Gassing
We give the Level Sleep mattress high marks in this category for not having too much of a noticeable smell upon opening the box.
There was some amount of off-gassing given its all foam construction and the fact that it comes tightly compressed in a plastic package, but it was nothing too overwhelming and dissipated within a few hours.

The company really took time to create some innovative foam technology with three zones made of foams of different firmnesses in the top layer for three different body regions. This patented TriSupport technology has been proven in clinical studies to reduce pain and stiffness by up to 54%.
The combination of foams used in the design of this mattress all work together to provide a very comfortable yet supportive solution that is ideal for all sleeping positions. It is particularly very good at providing excellent lumbar support, minimizing sinkage and reducing pressure points, eliminating pain and the need for tossing and turning.
