Construction and Materials
The Qomfort mattress is a 10″ all foam mattress made up of 3 layers of foam.
- 2″ Top Comfort Layer – This layer is 2″ of gel-infused memory foam which provides the contour, cooling, and support for the mattress.
- 2″ Transition Layer – This layer is 2″ of additional memory foam to provide support and pressure relief, as well as provide a transition layer between the upper and lower layers.
- 6″ Foundation Layer – This layer is 6″ of base foam that provides support for the mattress as well as deep compression support for the body.
The cover of the Qomfort mattress has a nice soft feel and also provides breathability.
Firmness & Support
The Qomfort is a universal comfort mattress, and only comes in one firmness option, which we rate it at a 5-6 out of 10 (10 being the firmest).
The Qomfort mattress felt softer to me, as I am significantly heavier than Kaye, at around 230 lbs, and I tend to press through the top comfort layers and feel more of the support layers in most mattresses.
As we are primarily side sleepers, we like mattresses that provide enough give in the top comfort layer to support our shoulders and hips, while also having the firmness if we switch to our stomachs and backs.
The Qomfortdoes a good job supporting both my heavy weight as well as Kaye’s lighter weight, although with more sinkage for my heavier weight.
In terms of support, for me the Qomfort mattress does a really good job of providing excellent support in all sleeping positions.
The Qomfort mattress is a rather comfortable mattress. We are big fans of memory foam mattresses for the hug and contour they usually offer but that some mattresses don’t get right.
The Qomfort memory foam construction does a great job of providing the contour and body hug that we like of traditional memory foam, but without the “stuck” feeling that often happens with all foam mattresses.
The Qomfort, being on the softer end of the spectrum for a memory foam mattress, made responsiveness and moving around during the night shake the bed, which didn’t go over too well with Kaye who doesn’t like being disturbed when I move around during the night.
The Qomfort does a decent job at not sleeping hot due to the gel foam construction they utilize to help minimize heat retention. There was a little heat at times due to our combined body heat under the covers, but nothing too significant or out of the norm for an all-foam mattress.
The Qomfort didn’t make us feel sticky or sweaty, which is often a problem for us as a couple with some traditional foam mattresses.
Sinkage & Motion Transfer
The Qomfort mattressdoes a decent job with sinkage and motion transfer, although at 10″ it does have its limitations just due to the overall thickness and not the best support for heavier sleepers such as myself. As we always preach, sinkage (and motion transfer) is largely weight dependent.
The fact that I am a heavier sleeper and weigh around 230lbs tends to have a significant bearing on the degree of sinkage I experience when sitting and lying on a mattress.
By contrast, Kaye, who weighs much less than me, tends to experiences much less sinkage than I do.
Edge support was about average with the Qomfort, which again, my heavier weight tends to cause problems when sitting on the edge and compressing the mattress. This is something that often is an issue for me as as larger, heavier sleeper.
There was bit of motion transfer due for us as a couple, due to my heavier weight compressing and shaking the mattress which disturbed Kaye a few times.
Smell / Off-Gassing
The Qomfort has an average amount of smell upon opening the box. Most all foam mattresses we have encountered tend to have a decent degree of smell and off-gassing and the Qomfort was about the same in this matter. It did go away after a night or two, however, which is normal.
Qomfort provides the standard amount of customer service you can expect in a “Bed In A Box” online mattress retailers, with a 10 year warranty and very friendly customer support.

The Qomfort is priced more reasonably than most mattresses we have tested for all the features they offer. Coming in at $549 for a Queen, (actually $499 with our code MFT50) which is a great price given the quality materials and construction used in this mattress.
The Qomfort mattress is a great all foam mattress that does a great job of delivering a comfortable nights sleep at a great price.
The materials, construction and the design of the Qomfort all work together to provide a very comfortable yet supportive mattress that is ideal for all sleeping positions as well as for couples.
The Qomfort provides the classic memory foam feel of body hug and contour without feeling trapped in the foam like other all foam mattresses often do. There was a moderate amount of sinkage and edge compression for heavier sleepers, but better than many similar mattresses.
We are very impressed with the quality offered for the very low price of the Qomfort mattress and highly recommend it. Hopefully this Qomfort mattress review was helpful in your next mattress purchase.
