The Nectar Adjustable Base is an innovative base compatible with any open cavity bed. It can perform either with or without foundations or box springs and work with any mattress designed to fit an adjustable base, especially with the Nectar mattress.

The Nectar adjustable base will work well with the mattress you have at your home, provided it is flexible enough to do a little bit of bending. But usually all the beds that come compressed in a box can fit the adjustable base.
The Nectar Adjustable Base is a 15″ high metal construction with six legs and a platform wrapped in the highest-quality fabric that gives it a nice look and feel. There is also a layer of poly foam around the edges which helps avoid painful bumps when getting in and out of bed.
The frame itself is sturdy and durable, designed to provide necessary support to both the mattress and sleepers above. It is equipped with two quality motors, one for the head and one for the feet. They operate independently of each other and are controlled via a wireless remote.
The wireless remote is battery powered. It is easy to be used and allows you to lift the head or feet area, or both simultaneously. You can also select how far up or down you want to go.
The base plugs into the wall for power. It is also equipped with two USB ports on the upper part of the frame which give you the possibility to charge your tablet, phone, or any other portable device.
There is a large metal retainer bar on top of the platform that goes at the foot of the mattress and which helps keep the mattress in place while adjusting the base.

When we received the Nectar Adjustable Base, we were impressed by how quickly it could be set up.
It’s delivered to your doorstep in just three pieces and all you have to do to set it up is to unpack it, attach the motor to the base, plug the cables to the power supply, screw in the legs, turn it over, and plug it into the wall to operate.
All the plugs are color coded so it will be easy for you to get everything plugged in quickly and without mistakes, so you don’t need the help of handyman or any special tools.
Other Features
The Nectar Adjustable Base is available in both split and single options and they can perfectly fit a great variety of mattress sizes.
A split adjustable base may be an excellent solution for those who share their bed with a partner with different needs and sleep preferences as it allows for each person to select their own sleep position without disturbing the other, and it also eliminates any motion transfer between the partners.
The base can be moved silently without disturbing your partner which may be a huge benefit if you tend to change positions during the night frequently.
With this one too, we used a Split King base which really appealed to us as a couple. We could use mattresses of different firmness levels and adjust the positions to our liking without disturbing each other.
Like I’ve already said, using the split base and different mattresses prevented Andrew from causing me to roll into him due to our weight disparity and experience that well-known feel of sinking into a hole which is often the case when we sleep on a single base and lower quality mattresses.

We are primarily side sleepers and we felt our hips and shoulders to be properly cradled and supported. We didn’t feel any discomfort while sleeping in other positions as well and didn’t feel our spines to be out of alignment.

Just like the company says, the Nectar Adjustable base is loaded with features from the three zone massage, a wireless remote, USB plugs to TV recline and zero gravity settings.
As we mentioned before, the base comes with a wireless remote control that allows you adjust the base to the desired position.
There are two motors for the head, that allow you to raise the base to approximately sixty degrees, and the feet, that can be raised to about forty five degrees. They operate independently and give you the possibility to pick any position.
You can raise your head to read or watch television, or you can elevate your feet to increase the comfort and improve blood flow. The functions of the remote allow you to raise both the head and feet together or separately.
There is this anti-snore button that raises your upper body a bit and slightly elevates your legs to help you breathe easier and sleep more quietly. This position has also been proven to relieve acid reflux symptoms.
In addition to these functions, the Nectar base offers zero-gravity positioning which arranges the bed to slightly raise your legs and back to make you feel like you are floating.
This position helps relieve pressure on your body, improves blood flow and stimulates relaxation and rejuvenation.
The Nectar remote also comes with three memory buttons that allow you to program your own sleeping positions. Namely, you can adjust the base to your liking and have the remote remember it by pressing M1, M2, or M3.Â
This function saves you the trouble of finding your favorite position every time, so you can just leap into the bed and reach the desired position simply by pressing one button.

To relax even more and get rid of any pain in your muscles, you can choose one of the massage options that the Nectar base offers.
It comes with the three-zone massage option so you can choose to massage only your upper or lower body or your whole body. The quality motors will send gentle vibrations into a mattress to help you relax and lull you into a sleep.
You may notice a gentle sound of the motor while the massage is running, but it is wasn’t a bother to us and it is nothing you should worry about.
Besides this, the Nectar adjustable base comes with some additional high-tech features such as USB ports and flashlight.
There are two USB ports on the right side of the base that give you the possibility to charge your smartphone, tablet or any other portable device and have them near you in case you need them while relaxing or taking a nap.
And at the top of the remote, there is also a handy little flashlight that can help you find something you need or find your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night easier without the need to flip on light switch in your room or the hallway.
